BRFC EXECUTIVE MEETING
MINUTES Thursday 13th September

Correspondence
1.1 Official Fire Plan:
Darlene to make copies for BRFC
1.2 League meeting
regarding referees. Contact Malcolm if you are interested.
1.3 Dart League commencing
on Wednesdays. In need of 5 dart boards. No rental agreement
needed.
To cover costs, BRFC will run a 50/50 draw.
1.4 Hurricane relief
rental – Lucia.
2. Director
Reports
2.1 President
2.1.1 Dam Jam was a phenomenal success and tremendously well
organized. BRFC excited to host
event again next year and will plan/advertise earlier to ensure more
numbers.
2.1.2 Trillium
Application – Malcolm to look after this.
2.1.3 Lease – Matt
to file necessary documents and report.
2.1.4 Good
representation by BRFC at Rugby Canada send-off to RWC
2.1.5 Monday Night
Training: Dack running Winter Touch League. Spring sessions for BRFC
members only.

Vice-President
2.2.1 Emails have
gone out to coaching staff to inform BRFC of their wish list and
comments
Darlene to contact Women and U19 Girls coaches.
2.2.2 BRFC will
not be fielding 3rd XV team for remainder of season.
2.2.3 Awards
Banquet date changed to Nov 17th as members are
unavailable for the Nov 4th date.
2.3 Fixtures
2.3.1 As we did not default 2nds game, defaulted 3rds game vs
Oakville Crusaders will be forgiven.
2.3.2 The 2nds will put together a team for the next 2 weeks after
which a decision must be made
whether or not the BRFC will play in playoffs.
2.3.3 Sunday Sept 16th XL game at club. Thursday Sept 20
XL game. There are more upcoming
games. See website.
2.4 Membership
2.4.1 Jamey sent updated list. In general, numbers are up for
all teams except the minis. Jamey will
have final report at end of year.
2.5 Clubhouse

4.1.2 BRFC
hosts Family Christmas Party on Sunday December 16th
