BRAMPTON U 21 MEN'S TEAM EARNS BRAGGING RIGHTS VS HESLOP'S HEROES   29th June 2007

There was a great Club night on Thursday evening 28th June 2007 at the Brampton grounds and Clubhouse.

The evening started off on the First XV pitch with Brampton U 18 winning their opening League game in fine style against Yeomen U 18. Meanwhile, on the Second pitch, the Women's U 19 team narrowly lost their opening league Game against their counterparts from Caledon.

However, the main event of the evening was the Heslop's Heroes XV (replete with a good mixture of XL players, Brampton veterans and not so veterans) dusting off their boots for a match against Brampton RFC's rising stars the U 21 team.

Yes, the Heslop Heroes now sport an all-time record of 0 and 1, as they went down to defeat in a 10 - 7 heart breaker. The young guys get the bragging rights for another 364 days...but,, the Heroes we are assured by

Dack will regroup and be back next year for vengeance.
