BRAMPTON'S CAM MITCHELL ON BENCH FOR CANADA U21 VS US ALL AMERICANS  27June 2007

Brampton's Cam Mitchell is selected to the Canada Under 21 Men's squad, but will be on the bench for the first of its two matches against the US All-Americans. The opening game will be held at 7:00pm, Wednesday, June 27th, at the Oakville Crusaders playing grounds in Oakville, Ontario. The second match of the series will be held on Saturday, June 30th, at 2:00pm, at Fletchers Field in Markham, Ontario.

Canada U 21 has an all-Ontario front row with Lindsay's Doug Woolridge, and Brantford's Devin Stubel at loosehead and tighthead prop respectively. They will be propping hooker Dave Neilsen of Aurora. Capilano's Luke Cudmore is in the second row pairing with Balmy Beach's Alex Tapscott. In the back row Ben Johnson from James Bay will partner with Oakville's Andrew Wilson, while the CRU's Will Simpson fills the No. 8 spot.

The half back pairing features Colin Brown (London St. Georges) and Aurora's David Poettcker.

In the centres, the inside slot goes to France-born Canadian Marc Cuglietta, who will partner University of Victoria's Ben Grant. On the wings, Capilano's Gordie Sawers, who received recognition in this past winter's San Diego sevens, plays with Balmy Beach's Phil MacKenzie. At full back is Jack Durling, who plays for Agen in France.
