CALLING ALL XLs ...          21st March 2006

 

We've put it off long enough. It's time for the XL Club's AGM. It has been proposed that it is better sooner than later, so we're planning on next Tuesday (March 27th).

 

There is a pub in the Jane & Bloor area that should be good for most. It is close enough to the west end for most members, still within the city, and on the subway line for those that need it. It is called A Dark Horse, and it is at the southwest corner of Armadale & Bloor, one block east of Jane.

It appears that the NOBs are registering with the ORU/CRU this year. It is important that you make the effort to show up this year for the AGM; as we'll be voting on this issue as part of the evening. Bill Holmes has also announced his intention of stepping down as El Presidente, and it would be great to have a crowd to help thank him for his years of effort.
