XL CLUB UPDATES AND SWAN SONG?                   22nd November 2007

LAST SUNDAY (Nov 18th)
London sent us a note before last week's game, advising "guaranteed sunny, mild weather, and dancing girls". What a crock. The feeling is just coming back into my frost-bitten arms, and Tom Bogart wasn't fooling anyone in that halter top. Could at least have shaved the goatee.

It was a great day, though, although only eight-a-side. Good, even Rugby, and a great social afterwards. Thanks to the London crowd for hosting. We're already looking forward to 2008 at St. George's.

NEXT SUNDAY (Nov 25th)
The XLs invite all to an All-Comers at Brampton. We are encouraging all XLs to show up and help host. This could well be the swan song for the 2008 season, so grab your kit and come out for one last run.

The weather has been crap this week, but the weekend is looking OK. The forecast is for about 7 degrees and partly sunny. At least you know at Brampton there will be a good shower afterwards. Come have a beer with your rugby buddies as they bulk up for hibernation!
