2008
The short, mid and long term focus of the BRFC in 2008, will be to

On the field, our focus will be to
build on the key learning factors from 2007. The BRFC Coaching Staff
remains committed to the development of players who commit to the Club.
We continue to have a very strong U21 and junior program, and this

BRAMPTON
RUGBY CLUB PREPARES FOR NEW SEASON 18th March 2008
(From the
Brampton Guardian Newspaper)
The Brampton
Rugby Club, under the leadership of new President Kent Tumber and his
enthusiastic Executive Committee, is in the process of planning for
another busy season in the Ontario Rugby Union’s powerful and very
demanding Marshall Premier Leagues. Once again it is the Club's
intention to field three senior men’s teams, a senior women’s team,
together with boy’s junior programs at U21, U18, U16 and Mini rugby for
boys and girls. There will also be a junior women’s category.
Such a
program is a huge task for a predominately
amateur sport. Once again the demand on the volunteers, administrators
and coaches will be enormous and Kent Tumber is busy putting together
detailed short and long term plans to ensure that the “Beavers” one of
the Province’s oldest rugby clubs, maintains the level of growth that
has been required over the last decade, to remain one of Canada’s
leading Rugby Clubs.
